Frequently Asked Questions About the Workshop

Q. Where is the workshop held?

A. The course takes place in my home in North Kildonan, in Winnipeg. The address will be provided to you upon registration.

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. All the supplies for the course are provided, including the 3 white silk scarves that you will dye and design. You will work on 2 (21” x 21”) bandana scarves, as well as a small rectangle 8" x 54". You must wear old clothes that you won't mind getting stained with dye. You can bring a refreshment and snack if you like.

Q. How long is the class?

A. The length of the class depends on how many people are enrolled (maximum 4), the complexity of the designs as well

as the groups' comprehension of the course material. It's typically 3 - 4 hours in total.

Q. Can a group of more than 4 people attend?

A. Special arrangements may be made for a larger group. Please e-mail me to request a special session.

Q. Are workshops restricted to the dates/time you have listed?

A. If you have a particular date/time in mind let me know and I’ll do what I can to accommodate your request.

Q. If I change my mind about taking the workshop is my fee refundable?

A. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the course start date the fee is fully refundable. Otherwise the fee is not refundable, but you can apply it to another non-refundable session at a later date.

Q. Are you equipped for handicapped individuals with mobility challenges.

A. At this time I cannot accommodate anyone who has mobility issues. There are steps into my home as well as soft floor coverings to protect the floor which would make movement with a walker, wheelchair, cane, etc. difficult.

Q. Is the course offered in any language other than English?

A. No it is not.
